“Language Is a Virus,” the song by Laurie Anderson, is here written in Braille on a Corian surface. The synthesis of a material’s function and the communication of aesthetics was developed in 2007 in collaboration with DuPont, Andreoli, and the Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano (Institute for the Blind in Milan), and manufactured by Andreoli Italy.
Sulla superficie in Corian di questo tavolo sono riportati in scrittura “braille” i versi della canzone di Laurie Anderson “Language is a Virus”. Il tavolo, realizzato nel 2007, è frutto della collaborazione tra il designer, la DuPont, Andreoli e l’Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano. Una felice sintesi innovativa che coniuga l’estetica e la funzionalità di un materiale. Realizzato da Andreoli Italia.
